KASSETA

KASSETA is a visual meditation on memory, recording, and the transmission of information across time and culture. The central elements evoke magnetic reels or eyes—capturing and replaying events, images, and emotions. The white calligraphic symbols surrounding these "cores" form an intricate code, woven into a broader backdrop—like a cassette tape inscribed at the intersection of personal and collective experience.

What do we store in our internal memory? Which recollections shape our present? And who decides what remains—ourselves or the algorithms of the outside world?

This work raises questions about identity in the age of digital reproduction, about our ability to preserve humanity in a world of infinite duplication. KASSETA becomes a symbol of memories not yet erased.
